30 in One. Wood and Black Pigment. 2018. Duke Hall Gallery. James Madison University. Harrisonburg, Virginia.
30 in One is based on the forms and shapes that exist within Tangram dissection puzzles. The piece was inspired to research the puzzles further after finding an antique puzzle game, GEOM - A - TRICK, while rummaging through the leftover garbage of an estate sale. The game was briefly produced in the early 1950's with a very limited circulation.
